As an editorial assistant for Public Art Review, Jen sources and organizes images for the magazine, with which she has been involved since issue 49.
A photographer who dabbles in writing, Jen holds an interdisciplinary master’s degree with an emphasis in arts management & museum studies from the U of MN, where she focused on image rights and museums. She is completing a MLIS at St. Catherine University, with attention to special libraries and visual resources. Jen has been involved with several vibrant Twin Cities arts organizations—including the Walker Art Center, Altered Esthetics, the Weisman Art Museum, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and the Minnesota Museum of American Art—in a variety of capacities over the past (almost) decade. She cares about issues faced by museums, art centers, libraries, non-profits and related spaces, as well as the challenge of fostering and sharing creative work. Visual narratives pique her interest and she’s curious about truth in imagery, challenges in digital asset management, and the power of images & information.
