The Richfield Artist Resident Engagement (RARE) initiative piloted in 2015 with established public art practitioners Witt Siasoco and Emily Johnson. The artists designed and delivered a range of artistic engagements to develop deeper relationships with people in the community, and to further the conversation about how arts can play a role in the every day lives of Richfield residents.
We are excited to share this film created by media artist, Chris Lange, featuring Witt’s amazing work throughout 2015. You can really get a sense of his artistic process and the layers of work that unfolded around his time in Richfield.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
