Forecast Public Art - Grant Program

Funding Categories

Applicants are allowed to apply for up to one statewide grant (Jerome or McKnight) and one regional grant per year. In addition to project funding, a limited amount of consulting and/or facilitation time is provided by Forecast Public Art staff.

Jerome Public Art Grants for Emerging Artists

Available to Minnesota-based emerging visual artists.

McKnight Public Art Grants for Mid-Career Artists

Available to Minnesota-based mid-career artists.

Available to artists and organizations located in the designated region.

Statewide Public Art Grants are supported by the Jerome Foundation and the McKnight Foundation. Additional support comes from the Minnesota State Arts Board.

Regional Public Art Grants are supported with funds provided by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
