Forecast Public Art has a commitment to enhancing the vibrancy of University Avenue, the boulevard that connects the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, with public art by local artists. Working with such groups as University United, the Midway Chamber of Commerce, the Hamline Midway Coalition, W.I.N.D., and Public Art Saint Paul, we have been actively engaged in planning and policy development for public art creation and placement on the Avenue. As University Avenue is transformed into the "Twin Cities Central Corridor" with the addition of light rail transit, significant public and private investment, and community-building efforts in each of the Avenue's culturally distinct neighborhoods, we believe art is integral to establishing the character of our main thoroughfare.
