Cincinnati, Ohio – Like many arts organizations across the country, Cincinnati’s ArtWorks is gearing up for its summer season. As the largest employer of visual artists in the region, ArtWorks has hired over 2,500 youth and 700 professionals since its founding in 1996, and infused the local economy with over $1.3MM since 2013. This year, ArtWorks is seeking candidates for 50 teaching staff and 150 youth apprentice positions. Teaching staff manage projects and mentor apprentices, who contribute to projects and participate in professional development activities. Among other projects, the artists will create seven community murals. To learn more about ArtWorks and how it supports the local economy, visit its website.
