NEW YORK (2013) – Sheep Station, presented by the Paul Kasmin Gallery, will be on view at Getty Station between September 17 and October 20, 2013. This installation transforms the landscape into a grazing pasture for 25 epoxy and bronze sheep crafted by the late artist François-Xavier Lalanne. Aptly named after the filling station that once operated there, Getty Station is in the heart of the High Line arts district. It has been re-fashioned into a temporary public art program by real estate developer and art collector Michael Shvo.
