original artworks fabulous food & drink live entertainment

Last year, hundreds of guests gathered at our 30th Anniversary Celebration at the Chambers Hotel in Minneapolis to bid on a unique collection of original umbrella artworks created by local, national, and international artists.

On September 17, we gathered at the Historic Union Depot in St. Paul. Voted by City Pages as “Best Architectural Time Capsule ” in 2007, the Union Depot is a Twin Cities landmark. Over 60 artists created new umbrellas for this year's silent auction, plus original and signed work from Christo & Jeanne-Claude and Claes Oldenburg & Coosje Van Bruggen were for sale!

We enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres & desserts from local restaurants and bakeries, unique art installations + live performances by acclaimed local artists (see full list below), and supported a great cause.
All proceeds benefited Forecast Public Art’s diverse public programs.

Thanks to our Performers and Installation Artists!
